Position: Tourism Development Officer

Salary: R350,000 - R420,000 per annum (CTC)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement tourism strategies for ECPTA reserves
• Liaise with stakeholders in the tourism industry
• Monitor tourism trends and identify opportunities for growth
• Assist in marketing ECPTA destinations
• Develop tourism packages and experiences
• Coordinate with local communities for tourism initiatives
• Conduct market research and visitor satisfaction surveys
• Support the development of tourism infrastructure
• Organize promotional events and activities
• Prepare reports on tourism performance and initiatives

• Degree in Tourism Management, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in tourism development or marketing
• Knowledge of Eastern Cape tourism landscape
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Project management experience
• Marketing and promotional skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office, social media platforms)
• Valid driver's license
